Bible Quiz League on the Western Slope

Bible Quizzing is fun, it's fellowship, it's competitive, it's inspirational, it's starting on the Western Slope!

Gary Culp, pastor at The Grand Mesa Bible Church in Delta wants to know about other churches that would like to participate with others in establishing a Bible Quiz league for the Western Slope. Many churches do not presently participate because it involves travel to the Front Range. The target date for the first competition on the Western Slope is November 8th. Teams will compete over the first two chapters of the book of James. There is no cost until a team desires to buy quiz equipment or officially join the league. If you have more questions, contact Gary Culp on his cell phone at 497-0800, email at pastorgaryc@gmail.com or Grand Mesa Bible Church at 874-8315

Sharefest 2015

Sharefest is a weekend where people from different churches and denominations in the Grand Valley come together for one weekend of service, sharing the love of Jesus tangibly with our neighbors, in a variety of ways. Some adopt entire neighborhoods and help with yard clesan-up. Others adopt a school and do such tasks as cleaning all the desks in the school. People help individuals in our community, especially the elderly, by washing windows, turning mattresses, raking and weeking yards, and washing cars. One group will make care pacakages for Colorado Mesa University students for finals week. There will be quuilters working on lap quilts for residents in care centers.  If you know someone who could use some help, or if you need some help yourself, go to  www.gjsharefest.com  and submit your request or call 778-4880. The deadline for submitting projects is April 10
