* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pray for: Pastor John Copper of Surface Creek Community Church in Cory bringing our Good News Verses this week. Pray that God will bless and empower him as he ministers to his congregation and reaches out to the community with the Good News of the Gospel. Praise
Pray for: Marriage & Family For many marriages and family relationships that are under attack. Pray that all parties will seek the Lord for direction and forgiveness, and that relationships will be healed and restored, to the glory of God. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * A listener who needs prayer to remain strong in the faith to resist temptations, and for the peace of God. 5-5 A Christian lady experiencing persecution on her job. Pray for the Lord's direction and for patience as she attempts to be a light in the darkness. Pray also a medical problem she is experiencing. Pray that she will find relief from pain. 5-5 Pray for a family who will continue to be displaced from their home for several more weeks following a house fire. Also, their vehicle may be beyond repair, and the wife's father will be going through cancer treatment. Pray for all the family during this difficult time. 5-1 Health Continue to pray for a husband diagnosed with cancer as the Drs. determine a treatment plan. Pray for God's intervention, strength, and peace for all the family. 5-12 A sister in another state who fell and cracked her pelvis is improving in a rehab center. Continue to pray for relief from pain and for God's healing touch and restoration to good health. 5-12 Community Pray for all involved in law enforcement and public service throughout the Western Slope. Pray for Godly wisdom and protection, especially as they deal with increased crime and substance abuse. Pray a hedge of protection over community service ministries that are ministering to the homeless. Nation and Military For protection over our country, and for wisdom and strength for President Bush and his staff in the midst of troubling times. Pray that our legislators in the U.S. will do what is right in the Lord's sight. Pray for a hedge of protection over our military throughout the world. Pray that many will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus, for strength and provision for their families. Pray for healing for those with injuries, and comfort and strength for families who have lost loved ones. NOTE: We do not mention names or details that would identify specific people.
