Steven Curtis Chapman has released a fun new song that has been called “upbeat and nostalgic” called “Do It Again.” It features his two sons, Caleb and Will Franklin Chapman, who also have their own band called Colony House.
Chapman said the title is taken from a quote by G.K. Chesterton:
"It is possible that God says every morning, "Do it again" to the sun; and every evening, "Do it again" to the moon. It may not be automatic necessity that makes all daisies alike; it may be that God makes every daisy separately, but has never got tired of making them."
Maybe every morning when the sun breaks thru
God’s saying “I’ll do it again”
Maybe every rising of a brand new moon
God’s says “I’ll do it again”
Maybe every wave crashing on the shore
God’s tryin’ to say “I’ve got more to show you
I know I told you I loved you before but I’m gonna do it again… I’ll do it again
And again and again and again I’m gonna do it again”
